In 1974 Jean Pierre Raynaud opened la Maison de La Celle-Saint-Cloud in Paris. A house and art installation comprised entirely of white tiles. The austere and geometric design created by the white tiles and juxtaposing black seams give an almost sterile feel. The space displays ultimate perfection and flawlessness. Sadly the house La Celle-Saint-Cloud closed in 1988 and was subsequently knocked down in 1993. Somewhere to this day I would have loved to visit.
